Mandate

Co-ordinate vulnerability and impact assessments in Quebec and co-operate on developing adaptation measures and strategies.

Main objectives

  • Complete the assessment of impacts on Quebec sectors and regions out to a 2050 horizon.
  • Analyze the main areas of public, infrastructure, economic and natural environmental vulnerability.
  • Provide information to help in decision making concerning adaptation.
  • Support the development of government adaptation strategies.

Secondary objectives

  • Monitor and track impacts and vulnerability.
  • Co-operate on developing guides and decision-making tools for different user groups.
