Jean-François Cyr, MSc Eng.

1986 to 2001: Urban hydrology consultant, directing the production of rainwater management master plans for various watersheds.

1999 to 2000: Took part in a pilot project to produce the first water master plan, and served as an observer member of the Board of Directors of the Chaudière river watershed committee (COBARIC II).

Since 2001: Working for the Centre d’expertise hydrique du Québec, in charge of special issues such as support for low-water levels on the Mille Îles River. Responsible for CEHQ matters related to watershed management and, since 2008, for the hydrological modelling platform of the government climate change action plan.

Since 1994: Has taught different university courses in the fields of rainwater management, hydrology, watershed water management and, more recently, adapting to climate change.
