CMIP6 climate model generation now available on Climate Portraits

We are pleased to announce the release of version 2.0 of Climate Portraits. This provincial climate information portal was designed by Ouranos and allows users to view historical data and projected changes using climate models.


In addition to a slight optimization of the interface, five major updates have been made: 

  • New generation of climate models (CMIP6)

  • Change in greenhouse gas concentration scenarios 

  • New reference Climate 

  • Improved post-processing methods

  • More intuitive color palette
