Summary of the activity

This training activity presents the objectives of risk assessment, an important step in the climate change adaptation process, as well as useful methods and tools for carrying out its three stages: risk identification, analysis, and evaluation.

Sonia Hachem
Ouranos

Sonia Hachem holds a PhD in Geographic Sciences from Laval University. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher on the mapping of permafrost zones from satellite images in the circum-Arctic zone with Laval University, Waterloo University and the European Space Agency. She also holds a degree in Higher Education Pedagogy. She worked as a geography teacher at the college level for 6 years.

At Ouranos since 2019, she joigned the Knowledge Transfer andTraining team in 2020.
