As part of the mandate given by the ministère du Tourisme (MTO) to support climate change adaptation in the tourism sector, Ouranos is developing various projects and activities to support tourism associations and other partners recognized by the MTO in planning and preparing for climate change adaptation.

One of these activities is the implementation of a training cohort to prepare for the transition to action in adapting to climate change.

This training cohort will be part of a peer learning approach and aims specifically to:

  • Share experiences, acquired knowledge and innovative, engaging practices.

  • Harmonize approaches to planning and implementing climate change adaptation actions.

  • Test different means and tools to facilitate the planning and implementation of climate change adaptation actions.

  • Strengthen cohesion and networking between participating organizations in the field of climate change adaptation.

We are therefore looking for a multidisciplinary team that will, among other things, be able to :

  • Develop a coaching approach in line with the orientations of the coaching strategy provided.

  • Develop and lead a series of diversified activities.

  • Carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the cohort's results.

You have until January 12, 2024 - 5 p.m. to express your interest (by writing to coulombe.laurence@ouranos.ca) in participating in the information session related to the mandate that will take place on January 16, 2024.
