Adaptation + Boundary work + Adequate scale
Organizations that have expertise and experience in climate change adaptation
Organizations that have expertise and experience in bridging scientific/technical knowledge and the policy and practice spheres
Organizations that work at scale, i.e., have an impact on several communities or regions
Membership process
Organizations that meet the membership criteria and wish to join the network are invited to :
Complete the application questionnaire, providing information about their mandate and boundary organization work
Review and agree to the network’s terms and conditions of participation bellow

Contributions expected from members
Agree with the vision, goal, strategies and expected outcomes of the network provided in the network description.
Participate in network management, including periodic reviews of goals and strategies.
Actively engage in network activities.
Proactively share information, knowledge products, expertise and lessons learned with other members.
Provide their logo for use on the network’s webpage for the duration of their membership.
There is currently no financial requirement to join the network. Participation in some network activities may require financial or in-kind contributions.
Contributions from the network secretariat
Provides logistical support to the network, including organizing virtual and in-person meetings, workshops and events.
Provides travel support on the basis of need, subject to available funding.
Reviews membership applications.
Manages the network web content.
Manages an external committee of experts that advises on technical and strategic issues.
Reserves the right to revoke membership if the terms and conditions are not respected.
Sharing of content created for the network by the secretariat or network members is under Creative Commons license Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International.

Unsubscribing process
Should a member wish to leave the network, an email to the secretariat will be sufficient. The organization will no longer be included in the list of members and its logo will be removed from the webpage and no longer used in network publications and activities. This removal does not apply to network resources created before the member unsubscribed.
